Stephen is a Senior Advisor at Catalyst and is primarily involved with deal origination and relationship management.

Stephen’s total experience includes 28 years in the accounting/advisory profession and a further 4 years in commercial roles. His working experience includes time spent in the UK, Vietnam, Thailand and Canada, the majority of which was in Vietnam.

During his 20+ years in Vietnam, he worked extensively in the advisory field and was involved in mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) and consulting work from 1995 onwards. In 2005 he joined PwC, the second largest professional services firm in the world with over US$40b in revenues, and set up its M&A advisory practice in Vietnam, growing this to become the largest amongst the Big 4 accounting firms employing over 100 people. He was involved in some of the largest M&A deals recorded in Vietnam during that time both as a buy side and as a sell side advisor
